November Update:
November is a month of giving, and that's what Hoffman's Exterminating is all about, not only THIS month but all year long. For November, we stay busy as bees with so many magnificent events. Over the past weeks, members of Hoffman Exterminating have been collecting and purchasing canned foods for the WMMR 2022 Preston and Steve's Camp Out for Hunger food drive. On November 10th, the Team dropped off over 4,000 lbs. of non-perishables! This momentous event helps drive hunger from our communities, and Hoffman's couldn't be more proud to be a part of it.
The fun did not just stop there! Our Team also had the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization with the mission of helping families build and improve places to call home. Members of our Team were able to visit the Habitat for Humanity warehouse located in Woodbury, New Jersey, this month to help build new materials that are going towards their new upcoming project of building two homes in the surrounding area. Seeing the production and effort that goes into making these homes for the communities was inspiring. It gave our Team an even better perspective on how vital organizations like Habitat for Humanity are to our communities.
We also visited Boston to participate in the annual National Pest Management Association (NPMA) industry awards at PestWorld 2022. This extraordinary event is presented by the Leadership Networking Community and honors companies that go "above and beyond" in making a real contribution to their communities. Our Team is so grateful to have been awarded the 2022 NPMA Gives Award! This award recognizes NPMA member companies that have demonstrated leadership through their dedication and contributions to the good of the community. We, as a Team, could not be prouder of this milestone. Thank you to the National Pest Management Association for hosting this fantastic event. Hoffman's Exterminating will continue to help our communities while making new friends!
Ronald McDonald House of Charities in Philadelphia is an organization our company has been a part of for years, and its dedication to helping families in need is inspiring. This incredible organization impacts thousands of lives by helping create a community of comfort and hope for families. Throughout the year, our Team has visited their facility to better understand their efforts to help these families. This month on November 17th, we were involved with the Ronald McDonald House telethon! Volunteers took donations to directly support the families of seriously ill children at Ronald McDonald Houses in Delaware, Philadelphia, and Southern Jersey. This event will be premiered on CBS 3 and CW Philly.

The Vibrancy21 Holiday Charity Bowling Event with Philadelphia Eagle A.J. Brown is coming up for Hoffman's Exterminating! This event benefits 4MyCity, a wonderful organization to obtain zero waste to zero hunger with its "Food Rescue to Go" program. This program allows rescued food supplies to be delivered to families facing food insecurity within a 10-mile radius of their Baltimore City warehouse and Philadelphia, PA distribution site reducing food waste while also helping families in need!
