I wanted to reflect on this past week and weekend and talk about Hoffman's Exterminating Earth Day. First off, we're all still buzzing about the great people we were able to engage with from the community - WOW!
We launched our new "Carbon Footprint Initiative" and introduced EV-ee, our first EV vehicle! Plus more...here's an overview of what happened as part of Earth Day Week:
Bug Demo at Subaru Park: Bug Demo at Subaru of America's Garden for Good, where students from Stetser Elementary came to listen to me speak on all things bugs and the benefits of bugs/insects in gardens along with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
ACUA's Earth Day Festival
Announcement of our first electric vehicle, "EV-ee," to all of our social media friends and followers.
Announced our "Carbon Footprint Initiative," in which representatives for each office work to ensure that their office is doing their part too to make Earth-friendly decisions every day
Representatives from our Food Safety Team and Northfield Office planted various flowers, trees, and bushes outside their offices to beautify and help reduce CO2 emissions.
We promise that we won't stop doing our best every day for the environment and we can't wait for Earth Day 2024!
